Here is a picture of my latest Ruffled Pillowcase Dress I made for my friends daughter for her birthday. I love the colors. Hope she does too.=)

Party party party

Me and Miss Ava, my friend Alika's baby, at Cailyn's party. This picture makes my ovaries jump, lol.

The boys at Jeremy's cooking party wearing their party favors, chef hats and aprons.

This weekend was another two birthday parties in one day weekend. We did it last weekend too. It's crazy how you can go weeks, months without a party. The first party was at Sportz Quest.  The party favors for this was one was a big My Little Pony decorative cookie made by a good friend, Amber Linkous. The kids let me have a bite and they were delicious. Decorative cookies I've eaten before tasted off but these were sooo yummy. I think I may get her to make some for the boys party in the future. Anyways, the boys had so much fun at Cailyn's party, they both fell asleep on the way home.  I had to wake both of them when we got back into our neighborhood for party #2. Jeremy's birthday theme was cooking. All the kids made their individual pizzas and their own ice cream sundaes for dessert. The party favors for this one was their very own personalized apron and chef hat. I had to take a picture. They were so cute! Thanks to both of our friends Cailyn and Jeremy for the invites! We had a blast.

I took my first painting class last night.

A friend of mine, Elizabeth Hilliard, has started a painting class called Truth Be Told. You can check it out at https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Truth-Be-Told-Art/156998187711627. She has painting parties at her house or you can host your own. Last night, a friend hosted a party and I was able to join in. It was so much fun!!! I learned so much and cannot wait to do it again. I decided to do my painting for my mom's upcoming birthday gift. Most women choose their favorite scripture for their paintings. I chose the serenity prayer because it holds a lot of meaning to my mom and my family. I can't wait to give it to her next weekend!!!

Getting ready for football season=)

This is my Georgia Tech fabric wreath I made for my front door.

Here goes nothing...

I am what you can call a blogging newbie. I love looking at my friends blogs. It's such a great way to keep people updated on your life and show off your craft. Not only will I use this to post pics of my beautiful family, but I will use this as a way of keeping up with my sewing projects. I got my machine 8 months ago. I love sewing and learning new cute things to make.
